If you’re someone who thrives in a team environment and doesn’t shy away from a good challenge, join us!Apply no later than 04/09/2025 to be considered for this opportunity.JOB SUMMARY:The employee in this classification is responsible to administer and support specialized departmental functions based on defined policies, processes and procedures and to act as a contact for SaskPower employees in the overall daily administration of a department/center. This position will also be responsible to plan, design, implement and maintain business processes, tools and reports which will aid in developing metrics and improve departmental/functional performance.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide first line contact for all corporate employees by providing advice and consultation based on defined departmental processes and procedures
  • Participate in and/or lead the administration, maintenance and delivery of business processes, procedures and training content, including corporate information systems and databases
  • Monitor, research and analyze data and interpret and apply policies to processes and procedures
  • Prepare and administer departmental reports, corporate statistics and other specialized programs as required
  • Compile costing data to assist with the preparation and distribution of departmental capital and operating budgets
  • Participate in general project and administrative tasks as required, including the preparation basic financial and statistical data, project updates and status reports
  • Assist departmental staff with the development of training course content and assist in the administration of employee training as required
  • Solve problems, implement decisions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Provide meeting content to support and create, revise and/or deliver presentations as required
  • Participate in continuous educational and professional development as required
  • Other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, or equivalent AND;
  • Three (3) years of related project and/or financial management experience including the support and administration of corporate projects, programs or processes, or equivalent
  • Ability to cooperate and deal effectively deal with people
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Aptitude for accuracy and detail
  • Ability to utilize corporate applications and MS Office
  • Ability to carry out work assignments with minimum direction
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
