Job DescriptionExciting Administrative Support Opportunity at Portsmouth Magistrates Court!Brook Street is thrilled to offer a fantastic full-time role within Portsmouth Magistrates Court. We’re hiring a Full-Time Admin Officer to join the dedicated team at Portsmouth Magistrates Court! This dynamic role offers a chance to be at the heart of court operations, contributing to an essential part of the justice system.Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Competitive Pay:Start at £11.59 per hour, increasing to £11.88 per hour after just 12 working weeks.
  • Prime Location:Work at MOJ – Portsmouth Magistrates Court (PSR) – Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth Southsea, PO1 2DQ
  • Immediate Start:Get started as soon as vetting is completed (Basic DBS and activity check for the last 3 years)

Role Highlights:

  • General Office Duties: Data input, managing Court Orders, handling correspondence, and supporting overall office operations.
  • Communication Skills: Respond to inquiries, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and connect over the phone with a professional and supportive approach.
  • Team Collaboration: Work within the Orders Hub, supporting colleagues in achieving a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • County Court Clerk Duties: Support County Court hearings, either in person or remotely, with training provided.
  • Hands-On Training: Develop skills with court-specific applications and technologies. No experience required – we provide full training!

What We’re Looking For:
