£25,000 – £35,000 per annumButler Rose are excited to be supporting a growing accountancy practice in Portsmouth who are looking to hire an accounts semi senior into their team.
This role which will manage a shared portfolio of clients, preparing year end accounts, VAT returns, personal tax self-assessments, and corporation tax computations.Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
- Experience preparing year end accounts and the associated corporation tax, VAT returns, and personal tax self-assessments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients.
- Experience using Iris would be beneficial but not essential.
Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of varied limited company, sole trader, and partnership accounts.
- Prepare year-end accounts, quarterly VAT returns, personal tax self-assessments, and corporation tax.
- Complete ad-hoc bookkeeping.
- Liaise with clients directly to answer financial queries.
