Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts receivable and collections? Are you seeking a role in the West Island ?One of our long-standing clients-a reputable company specializing in manufacturing and repairs of electric appliances-is looking for an Accounts Receivable Technician to join their collaborative and inclusive team on a full-time, on-site basis in Pointe-Claire!What’s in it for you?– Competitive salary: $50,000-$60,000 (based on experience)

– Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
– Reasons for Language Requirement: Communications with suppliers across Canada
– Frequency of Use: Daily (for various tasks)Experience & Skills:– Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience, including A/R and collections
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
– Knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar systems is a strong assetYour Day-to-Day:– Collect accounts receivable and proactively follow up on overdue payments
– Call customers when payments are overdue to maintain positive relationships
– Enter cash receipts accurately (cheques, bank drafts, wire transfers, etc.)
– Reconcile customer accounts, G.L., and A/R sub-ledgers
– Follow up on outstanding items with relevant departments for returns or complaints
– Review credit applications and credit reports for prospective clients
