The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes and a keen eye for accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to transition into a permanent role with a growing company.Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist will include:
- Accurately enter invoices into the accounts payable system
- Match, batch, and code invoices
- Process and execute payment runs
- File and maintain supplier records
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare checks for payment
- Handle additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Job RequirementsQualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, including strong Excel experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
