Reporting to the SVP, Finance, this highly visible position provides opportunities to work on complex technical accounting issues, mentor a growing team, and drive improvements across financial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Consolidation:

  • Manage quarterly and annual consolidation of financial results for internal and regulatory purposes.
  • Oversee complex technical accounting tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Lead and develop a team of senior and corporate accountants, providing guidance and performance oversight.
  • Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and team outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Process Optimization:

  • Lead the monthly financial close cycles, identifying and implementing efficiencies.
  • Continuously enhance tools, processes, and reporting frameworks to improve operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for treasury, accounts payable, and other shared services.
  • Liaise with various business groups to respond to inquiries and deliver insights.

Ad-Hoc Projects:

  • Take ownership of special initiatives, including technical accounting challenges and regulatory reporting improvements.

What You BringExperience: 4-6 years in accounting or auditing, with at least 2 years of industry experience.Education: CPA designation (or equivalent).Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and public company reporting requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, HFM, Workiva).
