We are committed to enhancing our six solutions, expanding and developing our team of expert consultants, embracing a digital-first approach, strengthening our global presence, and building strong client relationships.We are looking for an Associate Director to join our Manchester finance function support team, who is passionate about developing business with new clients and has experience of coaching and developing teams. Our client base has a mixture of entities across difference sectors and ownership structures. On a daily basis we deal with clients in smaller, owner managed fast growth businesses to large corporates (privately owned, PE backed and listed).You’ll make an impact by:
- Supporting the director in executing the strategy for the office and region; winning new work and growing the team
- Having a key focus on business development, working with the Partner Group on business plans and participating in targeting and lead generation
- Leading the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services on a portfolio of clients, whilst working alongside other service lines and reporting to the Client Relationship Partners on matters of additional advisory and client care
- Managing the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing and debt recoverability
- Resource planning, briefing team members and coaching and developing teams to present a premium client experience
What we are looking for:We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Industry or commercial finance experience would be welcomed
- Business development experience
- Experience of manging a portfolio of client work within a professional practice
- Experience as a Line Manager with advanced coaching and development skills
- Proven ability to quickly build rapport with client principals and colleagues.
