Account Director / Senior Account DirectorAccount – UK Global supermarket ( retail )Location- London 3 days in officeAn experienced Account Director to join the leadership team who will inspire a talented and committed team with your energy and excellence, creating award-winning work.With the full support of a large account team and the agency at your disposal, you’ll know how to quickly foster strong relationships internally and with clients in order to have everyone energised to pull in the same direction to create category and industry defining work.As a senior leader on the account, you’ll be able to expertly and autonomously lead large multi-faceted campaigns. You’ll be as excited by strategy and creativity as you are au fait with commercials and the operational complexity of retail delivery.You’ll know that retail brands are made in the detail of their delivery. Being a senior leader on the account is to be a master orchestrator, with the ability to work at pace and with agility across multiple integrated projects and a diverse client team – whilst keeping a calm head, good humour and positive, supportive outlook. You’ll know the client and their business inside out for when navigating sometimes differing priorities, through to making improvements in process, relationship and output wherever possible – alongside developing team talent and identifying new opportunitiesYour experience

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day ownership, development and nurturing of client relationships from the day to day Campaign Manager to the Marketing Director Comfortable being the point person on accounts biggest campaigns taking projects like our Christmas campaign from briefing to delivery.
- Immersed in the accounts business and retail landscape you’ll use your knowledge to seek new creative opportunities on the account, proactively driving these internally and to client
- Be the voice of the client within the agency and the voice of the agency to the client, and mediate between the two to get to the most effective outcome. Responsible for managing up to your BL/MP in order to keep them sufficiently informed on the day-to-day of the account / of any impending issues or opportunities
- Orchestrate the internal teams and wider cross agency group – from media to experiential agencies – to respond to brief in an integrated manner throughout the process behind the creative direction of your campaigns.
- Responsible for the managing, developing and day-to-day pastoral care of your account team; you’ll enjoy your role in supporting them and keeping them motivated and happy to work on the account.
- Ensure that the output at each stage of the campaign process is on brief, and on budget
- Lead the presentation of creative work and rationale for said work.
- Lead on pulling together commercial proposals for projects whilst supporting BL and MP in execution of the commercial strategy on the account.
- Responsible for the financial upkeep of the account and for managing your team’s financial duties including tracking the profitability and deliverables of the campaign against the retainer.
- Accountable for the effective & organised management of client feedback to agency, and creative/strategic push back to client
- Managing the client from briefing, strategy, creative to execution & evaluation of the campaign
- Be an integral part of the development of the strategic and creative output, attending all key meetings and ensuring required actions are done by you or your team
