  • We’re hiring an Automation Engineer to design and deliver automated solutions that streamline manual processes and connect core systems.
  • You’ll use Microsoft’s Power Platform, Alteryx, and Azure tools to build workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate data. You’ll also support our AI roadmap through Microsoft Copilot (MCP) and cognitive services.
  • This role sits within the Engineering team and will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Operations, and other business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end automation solutions using Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Alteryx
  • Integrate systems via APIs, custom connectors, and dataflows
  • Work with business users to identify and prioritise automation opportunities
  • Use Microsoft Copilot and AI Builder to deliver intelligent process automation
  • Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot workflows and integrations
  • Document solutions clearly and support testing and user onboarding
  • Promote automation and low-code adoption across the organisation
  • Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and reviews
  • Contribute to CI/CD practices and version control (Git, Azure DevOps)

Skills and ExperienceEssential:

  • 3+ years’ experience in automation, digital process improvement, or low-code development
  • Proven experience with Power Automate, Logic Apps, and/or Alteryx
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and system integrations
  • Experience engaging stakeholders and gathering business requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within Agile delivery frameworks
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, Git, and CI/CD practices

Desirable:

  • Exposure to MuleSoft for API development or integration
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot (MCP) and Azure OpenAI services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, and AI Builder
  • Understanding of enterprise data privacy, governance, and access controls
