Job Title: 2nd Shift Sandblaster Urgently Hiring
Pay: $20/Hr.
Hours: 2nd Shift, 5:30pm to 4am
Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a 2nd Shift Sandblaster for a long-term temporary position with the potential to become temp-to-hire. This opportunity is with our client, a trusted manufacturing company located in Westbrook, ME. The Sandblaster will be responsible for preparing product surfaces using abrasive blasting materials to ensure optimal surface coating results. Success in this position means being detail-oriented, maintaining consistent quality standards, and working efficiently while standing for extended periods. This is a full-time, second shift position located in Westbrook, ME.As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for:Operating sandblasting machinery to clean product surfaces before coatingSetting up equipment by lifting, carrying, and placing parts in cabinets or fixturesShoveling or pouring abrasive material into machines and maintaining supply levelsPerforming basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning and changing nozzlesBoxing and unboxing product parts before and after the blasting processConducting in-process inspections to ensure product qualityThe ideal candidate for this role will have:A high school diploma or equivalentNo prior experience required; entry-level candidates welcomeBasic math, reading, and writing skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow directionsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motionsAbility to hear instructions, see up close and at a distance, perceive color and depthBenefits:Enjoy affordable health and prescription coverage with no waiting periodAdditional benefits offered by the employer upon permanent hireAsk us about our Referral Bonus Program to earn extra cash!Ready to take the next step?
