Job DescriptionOncology Data Strategy and Innovation InternThe Oncology Data Strategy and Innovation Intern is responsible for supporting Human Health by assisting with data extraction, transformation, quality assurance and descriptive data summaries using patient data. The Intern must exercise good professional judgement at all times, recognizing that their work may bring them in proximity of proprietary and confidential information. Responsibilities may include though are not limited to the following:Collaborate with team to understand data sources to address business questionsElicit data requirements from team members for projectsExtract and transform data assetsPrepare descriptive summaries of data assets in numeric, table and graphical formsDocument results, present findings and make recommendationsRequirements:Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT, MBA, or an equivalent scientific/commercial disciplineCuriosity about how data is used to inform business decisionsEffective time management and communication abilitiesWorking knowledge of one or more of the following: Python/R/SQLAbility to present key findings, both written and oral and make recommendations to team membersAbility to operate in dynamic, transforming environmentCandidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 – 12 weeks beginning June 2025Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job.
