Who is looking for an Facilities Maintenance Tech to join their team. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION.OpSource has partnered with a automotive company located in Piedmont, SC.Pay for the position:

• $27.00/hour

Shifts for the position:

• 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, overtime as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of electrical and oil/lube systems, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use gauges such as calipers, micrometers, cylinder gauges, and dial indicators.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• General understanding of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills for maintenance, plumbing, and building repairs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience with special equipment (grinding, chip handling, vacuum, filtration, etc.).
• Familiarity with metal cutting, tooling, cutting fluids, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and PLC systems.
• Competency in close tolerance measurements and interpreting part drawings.
• Strong communication, attendance, and computer skills.
• Ability to follow quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001), safety, 5S, and productivity practices.
• Ability to work in a team or independently, with flexibility for overtime and weekends.

Expected salary

$27 per hour
