Are you looking to grow your career in accounting & bookkeeping? Our client, a well-established construction company in Lindenhurst, NY, is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to support their Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) functions.

Your Responsibilities:
Daily Deposits & Reconciliation – Prepare deposits, process remote captures, and reconcile transactions Accounts Receivable Support – Apply approved credits and maintain accurate financial records Accounts Payable Assistance – Support A/P processes as needed Financial Recordkeeping – Maintain and distribute accounting documents, reports, and records Month-End Closures – Assist in monthly reconciliations and financial reporting Administrative Support – Perform additional clerical duties to support the Accounting Department
What We’re Looking For:
1-3 years of experience in an office/accounting environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel Experience with NetSuite (preferred but not required) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Strong communication skills & ability to multi-task Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment 2-year degree preferred
Location: 100% On-Site in Lindenhurst, NY
