The Research Test Specialist is responsible for designing, administering, and analyzing assessments to support various research projects within the institution. This position focuses on ensuring the integrity and reliability of testing procedures while collaborating with faculty and researchers to provide insights that inform data-driven decision-making.
Job Duty 1 –
Design and develop assessment instruments and evaluation tools that align with the objectives of research projects and comply with relevant standards.
Job Duty 2 –
Administer testing procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and reliability in data collection across various research studies
Job Duty 3 –
Analyze test data and results using statistical methods to interpret findings and provide insights that contribute to the overall research objectives
Job Duty 4 –
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of test results by implementing and monitoring security measures throughout the testing process
Job Duty 5 –
Prepare comprehensive reports that summarize testing outcomes, methodologies, and implications for further research or program development
Job Duty 6 –
Provide training and support to staff and students involved in the testing process to ensure adherence to established protocols and best practices
Job Duty 7 –
Stay updated on advancements in assessment methodologies and technologies by participating in professional development opportunities and reviewing relevant literature
Job Duty 8 –
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices by evaluating existing procedures and recommending enhancements based on research trends and outcomes
Job Duty 9 –
Collaborate with faculty and researchers to identify testing needs and incorporate feedback into the development of assessment strategies
Job Duty 10 –
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
Associate degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience
Required Experience
2+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Knowledge of threat intelligence research and the ability to translate intelligence data into engineering or test artifacts
- Familiarity with radar warning, electronic attack, electronic support, electronic protect, or countermeasure systems

Salary Job Grade R06
Salary range is dependent on candidates experiences and skills that ranges from $62,642 – $105,866.
Due to our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens.
