| About the Department |
The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources has a wide variety of strengths in forestry and natural resources management, policy and economics, environmental science and technology, wildlife and conservation biology, tree improvement, silviculture, forest biotechnology, and international forestry. The Department has over 90 full time faculty and staff, and more than 750 undergraduate and 150 graduate students. Faculty, staff, and students work together with business, industry, government, community groups, and non-government organizations to address a wide range of challenges facing our state and the world. Partnerships include Camcore, the Forest Productivity Cooperative (FPC), the Southern Forest Resource Assessment Consortium (SOFAC), and the Tree Improvement Program (TIP). | Essential Job Duties |
The Coordinator of High-Impact Experiences serves as the operational and student-facing lead for the experiential learning that defines the student experience in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources. This role facilitates the journey from classroom to career by managing the logistics, professional networks, travel, field-based environments, and community-building activities supported by the department.
Key Responsibilities:

4. Support the Enhancement and International Committees and Academic Programs
5. Student travel authorizations and reimbursements
6. Departmental Event & Internal Communications

Qualifications
| Minimum Experience/education |
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
