This role is a hybrid GIS position supporting natural‑resource work, requiring proximity to a DSL office and occasional short‑notice travel across Oregon.

  • Hybrid schedule — assigned to Salem, Bend, or North Bend; onsite 1–2 days per month
  • Three openings — GIS Analyst / Natural Resource Specialist 3 roles
  • Mission‑driven work — supports protection of wetlands, waterways, and state lands
  • Travel expectations — same‑day travel within Oregon on short notice
  • Commuting requirement — must live within reasonable commuting distance of assigned office
  • Field support — assists environmental monitoring, land management, and GIS field tools
