You will also provide secondary, light-touch support and interaction with Active Directory (On-Prem & Azure) and AWS, ensuring seamless integration with the wider infrastructure.
The role will be visible to the organisation’s key stakeholders including management and therefore a strong customer focus, willingness to learn and apply, coupled with robust technical skills will be essential. You will be required to help administrate and develop our Corp IT managed systems through ongoing proactive project work, as well as perform extensive troubleshooting and problem management where escalated issues require it.
A critical component of this position is the relationship with the wider support function both inside CorpIT and outside e.g. Infrastructure and Security. You will work closely with other senior and staff engineers but also with our support engineers, serving as a primary source of escalation, technical support, and mentorship when required.
You will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of the product stack we use and help exploit our investments in that area. You will confidently approach the topic of data security and identity management with a best-practice mindset. As a member of Zepz’s Technology Operations team, you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction.
What you will own
Reporting to the Technology Operations Manager you will:

You will manage users and applications within Okta to ensure access and identity are controlled in line with our security policies.
- Device Management: You have a deep understanding of Device MDMs, specifically Microsoft InTune for Windows and Iru (formerly Kandji) for macOS fleets. You will manage policy configurations and troubleshoot device enrolment issues
- Escalation & Mentorship: Act as a senior escalation point within the Technology Operations Team for technical issues. You will demonstrate strong technical acumen and troubleshooting skills with the ability to coach junior colleagues and bring a strong technical maturity to the wider Technology Operations team.
- Infrastructure Support: Provide secondary, light-touch support for Active Directory (On-Prem & Azure) and some Corp IT resources that are hosted in AWS.
- Security & Identity: In-depth knowledge of best practices around data security and identity management. Working closely with our Security Operations team.
- Integrations – Knowledge, understanding and experience with API integrations with ability to integrate Saas systems across the ZEPZ eco systems.
What you bring to the table
Technical Skills
- SaaS Management: You are comfortable supporting and managing several SaaS systems. You lead and assist in projects to develop the systems and bring in new features. You also serve as a point of escalation for platform issues.
- Identity & Access: You have managed users in an IAM platform (preferably Okta) and understand how to create and update both users and application integrations while following best practice as well as internal IT and Security policies.
- Device Management: Hands on experience managing company devices in an MDM platform. You will be able to administrate device configuration policies, remediate vulnerabilities with device patching and troubleshoot enrolment issues.
- Automation & Efficiency: Experiencing delivering automations which reduce manual overheads and result in measurable time savings. This includes identifying repetitive tasks and implementing scripted or automated solutions to improve efficiency. Knowledge of Okta Workflows would be beneficial.
- Coding/Scripting: Are able to articulate some understanding of a coding language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Javascript) or demonstrate willingness to learn.
Soft Skills
- Collaboration & Autonomy: Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as required to drive project tasks forward, and also collaboratively across the team and wider organisation to solve complex problems. The ability to work cross domain and with other domains on projects and to communicate effectively.
- Problem Solving: Able to methodically work through problems and escalated issues, achieving a resolution while collaborating with others where needed, and ensuring that resolutions are communicated and documented.
- Leadership: As a senior within the team, you will be expected to showcase the ability to mentor and lead junior staff as needed.
- Communication: Regularly communicate clearly and effectively to both more junior and senior staff, including executives. Also able to explain things both in technical terms and in plain language, depending on the audience.
- Documentation: Have written and published documentation which have articulated technical aspects to both technical and non-technical audiences. You act as an owner for items that you contribute to knowledge bases, ensuring documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date.
- Customer Centric: We put the customer in the heart of all we do (the customer in this case is internal staff). Our focus is to delight and provide a world class service to all our users and to always enable them as best as possible with the correct tools and processes.
