Ecological Enhancement work on Wisconsin’s Door Peninsula
Door County Prairie Company (d.b.a. RestoreDoor EcoLogical Services) is seeking inspired re-Wilders for a variety of ecological enhancement projects. hiring one or two technicians. full or part time. experience preferred. internship is an option, and training provided as needed.
helpful knowledge / experience / skill sets include:
- outdoor acumen
- plant ID
- plant care knowledge
- tree planting and care
- invasive species management
- social media savvy
- WI Herbicide Applicator Certification, categories 5 and 6
- chain saw and power tools
- prescribed fire
- prairie design and management
- logistics
