Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Accessibility Remediation Specialist for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES). The Accessibility Remediation Specialist provides advanced technical expertise to ensure that all digital materials and platforms within the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) comply with federal and institutional accessibility standards. This position is responsible for auditing, remediating, and validating accessibility of documents, websites, and online learning materials. The specialist applies in-depth knowledge of accessibility technologies and standards to improve digital inclusion and ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504/508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
