We are committed to building a more sustainable and inclusive society.Role purposeThe Talent Acquisition Specialist, Europe will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and recruiting top talent across our European markets (with a particular focus on France), providing best in class candidate experience. The role is based in Paris, it forms part of the EU TA team and the wider Global TA Community.The role will actively focus on business partnering with Hiring Managers across Retail and Head Office functions to support the continued growth ambitions of the business, focusing on recruiting the best talent either internally and/or externally.This role will develop and implement consistent recruitment processes and best practice as well as maintain a pipeline of candidates for future roles. In addition, the role will play a key role in partnering with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in executing the regional recruitment and sourcing strategy, and focus on project work/value additive activities that lead to improving overall recruitment processes, and elevating the candidate and employee experience.Whilst primarily focused on the European region, in addition, the role will also support Global Talent Acquisition team where required.Role responsibilities include, but not limited to –Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitments process for store management and corporate roles across Europe, including advertising the roles, screenings calls, interview scheduling and offers; to ensure we attract and promote a diverse and retail career focused talent
  • Facilitate the end-to-end retail recruitment including festive season group interviews
  • Tailor a recruitment strategy for each role and deploy proactive resourcing measures to recruit hard to fill roles in markets across Europe
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships (with recruitment agencies, other retail or Aesop-aligned companies, diversity and affinity organizations)
  • In partnership with Senior TA Specialist and with respective HR Business Partners build an external and internal talent pipeline, ensuring future resource needs are being met
  • Champion inclusive hiring, help drive and embed recruitment practices (through the DE&I lens)
  • Continuously improve the recruitment process and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practice to continuously elevate candidate experience
  • Continuously review and improve recruitment processes to elevate candidate experience, in line with Aesop’s values

Workday & HR systems administration

  • Responsible for all job requisition creation in workday and monitoring approvals/chasing where needed to ensure job requisitions are processed through the system efficiently
  • Working with People Services team and respective HRBPs to ensure accuracy of TA data, reflecting budgeted pipeline
  • Support retail management teams in upskilling in usage of ATS on workday

Reporting

  • Own recruitment metrics, reporting on trends/insights in partnership with Senior TA Specialist to drive and influence key decisions and further enhance candidate experience
  • Report on performance versus Globally agreed TA KPIs and progress towards recommended actions for improvement.

This is a full-time position for a contract duration of 6 months, operating with a hybrid working pattern.What we are looking for

  • Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives

  • Proven and progressive experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in house recruiter, preferably in a fast-paced Retail or similar high volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of the local market within Central and Southern Regions (France and Germany highly beneficial) and experience recruiting for a variety of roles
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and French are essential, German is desirable
  • Proven ability to effectively and confidently communicate and influence stakeholders
  • Innovative self-starter with an ability to identify, propose and implement improvements
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Prior experience with HRIS (i.e Workday)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
