Finance Business PartnerWe are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support our Work Surfaces division. This role could be based at either our Howden site in East Riding of Yorkshire or our Normanton site in West Yorkshire. As the primary financial contact for the Work Surfaces teams, you will bring in-depth knowledge of management accounting, along with an analytical approach to drive financial planning, budget tracking, and variance analysis for this business area. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape financial processes and provide critical financial insight and operational support, helping us track performance, meet divisional targets, and make informed business decisions.What will I be doing as a Finance Business Partner?
- Taking responsibility for the template and fit and field management cost centres – completing period end journals to ensure the P&L is accurate.
- Acting as the key contact and support for our managers by providing accurate, timely, user friendly reporting and analysis.
- Developing and embedding weekly KPI reporting for template and fit costs, as well as educating stakeholders on strong financial performance.
- Developing strong relationships with key operational stake holders and field and planning teams.
- Preparing operational budgets and forecasts.
- Developing and embedding a Contract job costing process to include liaising with our Contracts Division to provide bespoke job quotes and monitoring of the potential contract lead bank.
- Developing financial awareness for the field management and installation planning teams.
What do I need to qualify for this role?
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
- Solid experience in management accounts and balance sheet control, with a track record of successfully business partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong communication and influencing abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret and explain data to diverse teams.
- Commercially astute, resilient, and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Highly proficient in computer applications and ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Able to build strong working relationships at all levels and communicate effectively.
- A team player who takes ownership and demonstrates accountability.
- Customer-focused, driven, and dedicated to delivering high-quality results.
