• Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 annually
• Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with flexibility to support other shifts as needed
• Employment Type: Direct Hire

Role Overview:The EHS/Training Manager will be instrumental in maintaining safety excellence and developing robust employee training programs. Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing, maintaining, and updating EHS programs to promote proactive safety measures.
• Providing technical EHS expertise to the plant leadership team and employees.
• Coaching and counseling employees to lead with safety and promote a Safety-First culture.
• Developing and managing training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and environmental standards.
• Investigating incidents, performing audits, and driving preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Overseeing emergency response plans and managing crisis situations effectively.
• Leading the company’s safety committee while collaborating across departments to meet safety goals.
• Partnering with teams to identify training needs and implement solutions to ensure employee development.
• Providing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports to leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental/Health Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing.
• Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs across all shifts with a focus on professionalism and confidentiality.
