Driver – Team LeaderAre you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and delivering top-notch customer service? We’re looking for a hands-on Driver – Team Leader to manage and support a team of drivers, ensuring smooth hub operations and high standards of service. If you’re ready to take the lead, work closely with Regional and National Transport Managers, and make a real impact, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of drivers at your assigned hubLiaise with Regional/National Transport Managers to resolve operational issuesOversee vehicle maintenance, pre-operation checks, and defect reportingArrange vehicle recovery in case of breakdowns and manage hire vehicles when neededCoordinate driver schedules, including holiday cover and sickness managementConduct return-to-work interviews and monitor attendance using the Bradford Absence Management PolicyEnsure all customer returns are securely packaged and reported accuratelyMonitor and report health & safety issues to maintain a safe working environmentIdentify and drive opportunities for continuous improvementConduct performance reviews, assist with recruitment, and resolve any conflictsMaintain exceptional customer service standards and ensure compliance with company policiesWhat You’ll Bring:Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced logistics or transport environmentStrong route planning and multi-drop delivery knowledgeExcellent leadership and communication skillsBasic IT skills and ADR awarenessAbility to handle physical tasks (lifting up to 23kg)Why Join Us?
