We take a proactive approach to preparing for the future by creating agile and flexible programs to remain competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.As the Talent Development Partner (Program Lead, Employee Development) you will be accountable for supporting the implementation, management, and maintenance of employee development initiatives across the organization with a focus on individual contributors i.e. “Leading at All Levels” as defined by our Co-operators leadership personas and core competencies. Managing the onboarding portfolios, having oversight to the LinkedIn Learning portfolio and the new team dynamics programs will be part of the focus in addition to supporting various HR and Enterprise Learning initiatives that impact a wide audience. This individual will also support in a consultative manner for Compliance, Privacy, and DEI projects throughout the year, therefor an understanding of our learning platforms and technology is key to support these critical partnerships. Oversee the successful execution of our language programs and any new programs launched under the employee development portfolio.Please note this role can be done from one of the following office locations Regina, Calgary, Guelph or Toronto. The hybrid work model requires team members to be in office 2 days a week.How You Will Create Impact:
- Collaborates with various working committees, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate the implementation and execution of strategic and integrated employee development solutions that fosters high performance, grows organizational capabilities & effectiveness to achieve business strategy.
- Assist in development of pilot programs, program evaluation and potential program modifications as part of the phased launch of the new strategy and learning journeys.
- Actively participates in RFP processes from start to finish to engage with best-in class external partners and to determine any customization or program development needs that fit the needs of the organization now and in the future.
- Responsible for the ongoing monitoring and management of the overall employee development program and roadmaps, using a variety of methods to monitor program success, learner needs and strong communication tactics to embed a growth mindset within the organization.
- Develops strategic relationships internally and externally to support employee development best practices fit for Co-operators, positioning the organization as a future-forward organization.
- Develop a data-driven evaluation strategy to measure a variety of key metrics such as, behaviour change, business impact and competency capabilities.
- Act as a conduit to the talent development partner and the HR partner team to socialize new employee programs and experiences as they launch through a phased approach. Seek input and feedback as indicated by project phase.
- Oversee the new hire training curriculum, LinkedIn Learning and other employee development needs with the support of the employee development specialist.

To join our team:
- You have minimum of 7+ years of experience related to learning, training, employee development and/or talent development programs.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Education, employee development, or human resources preferred.
- Expert experience with user experiences design, design thinking and/or innovative practices preferred – expert knowledge of the ADDIE design framework and various adult learning theories and models. May include the need to design in L&D specific tools and platforms to support program development and deployment.
- Knowledge and experience working within a competency framework for leaders at all levels – with a focus on the leading at all levels persona (individual contributors).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, advanced knowledge of Kirkpatrick’s levels of learning evaluation and ROI. Ability to synthesis learning metrics and analytics to make data-driven decisions on employee development programs.
- Advanced knowledge on all learning modalities including eLearning, LinkedIn Learning, instructional and experience design, as well as development in tools such as Rise360 & Articulate Storyline.
