This approach not only enhances work-life balance but also allows us to harness the full potential of our diverse and talented workforce.Role ProfileAs the Insurance Manager, you will lead all aspects of Unispace’s insurance portfolio, driving best practices in risk management and compliance across our global operations. This position will report directly to the Group Chief Legal Officer and play a critical role in supporting Unispace’s growth and risk mitigation efforts. You’ll work closely with Unispace’s legal and project teams to develop and implement effective insurance policies and risk management tools, manage renewals and claims, and provide guidance on insurance-related matters.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing company-wide insurance coverage, including renewals, project-specific policies, and the issuance of insurance certificates in coordination with our external brokers.
  • Managing Unispace’s bonding limits and capacity, facilitating project-specific bonding solutions, and advising on risk exposure in line with Unispace’s risk tolerance.
  • Collaborating with the Legal team and insurance providers to manage insured claims, and ensuring all insurance-related activities meet regulatory standards.
  • Conducting ongoing risk assessments, analyzing potential impacts, and working with the Global General Counsel to communicate significant risks to business leadership.
  • Contributing to the evolution of risk and insurance policies, standardizing practices, and implementing tools and templates to ensure effective risk management across global teams.
  • Enhancing risk awareness through training and support, empowering employees to manage risk effectively within their roles.
  • Facilitating the procurement of specialized insurance coverage for unique project requirements and ensuring comprehensive record-keeping for all policies.

About YouThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field, along with membership in a professional body such as the Institute of Risk Management. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance or risk management within a global setting, with at least 2 years specifically in insurance and bonding.
