Lead Engineer (DevOps)

Requirements

● Monitor build system performance and make recommendations for improvement to
ensure optimal efficiency
● Own the maintenance of base images based on programming languages
● Participate in monthly patching activities to resolve vulnerabilities on base images
● Leverage Newrelic to create dashboards
● Be responsible for ensuring that services and build infrastructure are able to deliver the
high availability and cost-efficiency
● Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
● Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and
scalability.
● Analyze the root cause for latency in individual components and across the system.
● Continually look for opportunities to improve our platform, process, and business.

Desired Skills & Experience

● 7+ years of experience in build pipeline infrastructure and troubleshooting
● Experience in cloud capacity management and optimization.
● Experience with AWS or comparable cloud providers with certifications
● Critical thinking, continuously challenging how and why we do things to help us improve
● Experience with Power-shell, python, Ruby is beneficial
● Experience with APM tools like New Relic, Dynatrace and ELK would be added
advantage
● Demonstrated knowledge of systems software and understanding the impact of locking,
caching, and I/O on software performance
