Now Hiring: Social Media Assistant & Content CreatorPart time 14 hours per week (with opportunity to extend)We are seeking a highly motivated, talented and detail-orientated Social Media Assistant & Content Creator to join our growing team!Based in Busby, to the south of Glasgow, Riverside Music College offers a range of innovative industry-leading commercial, educational and community-led creative arts services. Our business model is unique, combining an internationally renowned and commercially successful state-of-the-art recording and production centre with a purpose built creative learning complex.You will play a key role in enhancing our online presence and fostering a strong connection with our audience across a range of platforms. You will work closely with our Senior Team to develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns that align with business goals and objectives.Duties:

  • Create and publish engaging content (both static and video) across various social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target audience, creating designs and social media content that resonate with them.
  • Engage with industry partners, artists, and influencers to grow our audience and brand.
  • Assist to develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure social media growth and engagement.
  • Assist to develop and deliver a social media communications calendar that aligns with business goals.
  • Edit and proofread content to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
  • Assist senior team in social media analytics and reporting.
  • Assist the team in creating innovative ideas to progress the brand.

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong ideation and creation skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in a social media role.
  • Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with CMS (Wordpress).
  • Ability to film, edit and post high quality video content.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and KPIs.
  • Passion for content creation, music and the creative arts.
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations.
