Summary:

Our Vice President of Talent Management will oversee the Talent Acquisition and People Development functions at Anaconda. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive cross-functional growth through both the attraction and development of top talent. You’ll help to set vision and strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to ensure we deliver upon our ambitious goals. What You’ll Do:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Anaconda’s growth objectives and cultural values.
  • Lead and provide thought leadership for the Talent Acquisition and People Development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and the Executive Team to identify current and future hiring needs and develop strategic workforce planning initiatives.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Oversee the full recruitment life cycle, from our outreach programs, through the date of hire.
  • Design and implement recruitment marketing strategies to enhance employer branding and attract diverse talent. 
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and ensure a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Work closely with others on the People team to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners, agencies, and industry networks.

People Development:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of training programs for new hires and existing employees. Tie programming to Anaconda’s business goals.
  • Partner with people leaders to identify training needs and create programs that align with business goals.
  • Use data and participant feedback to evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of training.

What You Need:

  • Prior leadership experience in a start-up, building and leading an international talent acquisition team in a high growth (>60% YoY), international company.
  • Demonstrated success leading the evolution of a recruiting team into a recruiting machine. 
  • Strong operational mindset with a track record of developing and refining processes at scale.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition and employee development strategies. 
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and comfortable making hard decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into talent strategies.
