OpSource has partnered with JTEKT a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, bearing solutions, and high-performance machine tools company in Piedmont, SC. Who is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Planner to join their team. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION.The Maintenance Planner will develop and implement a world-class planning process into all Maintenance functions by coordinating all aspects of preventive and predictive maintenance. In addition, the planner will support other projects and maintenance repair work. Develop a program that is integrated with the Maintenance function to ensure it can be sustained over time and demonstrate continual improvement.Pay for the position:

  • $33.03/hourr

Shift for the position:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Summary:
Develop and implement a world-class planning process for all Maintenance functions, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance. Support maintenance repair work and other projects while ensuring continual improvement.Job Requirements:

  • Maintain documentation and integrity of the preventive maintenance program.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Maximize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime through detailed machine histories.
  • Develop preventive maintenance instructions, routes, and schedules for compliance.
  • Plan maintenance projects and provide cost analysis before work begins.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to track performance and maintain accurate records.
  • Drive the implementation of maintenance systems, including Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Prepare and report maintenance metrics (PM completion, downtime, schedule effectiveness, etc.) and identify performance gaps.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in industrial or production maintenance.
  • Proficient in MS Office and maintenance software (e.g., Accruent).
  • Strong coordination, planning, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to present information effectively to auditors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering Technologies (or equivalent work experience).
  • Extensive experience in scheduling preventive maintenance jobs.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Requires specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus).
  • Exposure to manufacturing areas requiring PPE (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses).
