Whole Trees LLC, dba WholeTrees Structures, a dynamic team with a profound passion for forests and mass timber construction, seeks a North Eastern Region Sales Manager. We are a cutting-edge Structural Round Timber (SRT) and Sawn Heavy Timber (SHT) solutions provider.The North Eastern Region Sales Manager is responsible for safely driving primary demand and revenue for WholeTrees Structures by developing relationships with customers and key influencers in the commercial construction industry. This position requires independent judgment and motivation to perform the responsibilities described below. Routine monthly travel is required.The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the AEC community, passion for sustainable design, and a temperament for innovation. Responsibilities include market development, direct sales, project estimation, and closing of sales. After learning the company’s unique sales process, this person will assist company leadership in strategizing methods for driving sales into wider WholeTrees Structure’s markets.The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of structural building product sales experience, a closer’s mindset, demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, refined communication skills, and general curiosity to learn and grow.Responsibilities include:
- Build lasting relationships with customers including developers, architects, GC’s, and engineers by providing exceptional customer service.
- Attain an in-depth understanding SRT/SHT including forestry, sustainability, design, commercial commodity trends, construction markets, and structural building.
- Present to and represent WholeTrees Structures to the broad developer, design, and contractor communities.
- Identify, qualify, and quantify new sales opportunities.
- Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
- Act as a project consultant and liaison to the design community.
- Develop and present value-added project solutions.
- Engage Customers to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop market intelligence.
- Effectively partner and work across the WholeTrees Structures team.
- Act as the subject matter expert for WholeTrees Structures solution development, services, and product offering.
- Present quotes, negotiate, and sign new work.
- Drive revenue through value added selling approach.
- Develop territory plan and prepare required reports and forecasts.
- Proactively maintain and manage HubSpot CRM.
- Maintain adept understanding of the latest industry trends to support sales strategy.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts utilizing existing CRM workflows.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven sales development track record focused on structural solutions, sustainability, and mass timber construction.
- Ability to work safely.
- Effective listener.
- Strong professional communication skills — written, verbal, presentation.
- Strong technical acumen.
- Strong business acumen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through complex design challenges.
- BA/BS degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred.
- Commercial construction experience (3 plus years preferred).
- Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving financial and volumetric goals for assigned territory.
- Promote a sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Act without being told what to do. Bring new ideas to the table.
- Contribute fully to the team effort and play an integral part in the smooth running of teams in both leadership and participant capacities.
- Effective use of core company sales tools: Google Suite, MS-Office, etc.
- Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete.
- Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team, both in-person and remote.

Salary will be commensurate with experience with opportunity for advancement.
