Department of PlaceSustainabilitySustainable Delivery Project Officer (eBike Hire Scheme)PO1/PO2: £35,745 – £40,221pa (Pro rata for part time posts)Temporary – up to 18 Months1 x 37 Hours per weekBritannia House / HybridAs this post is suitable for secondment, interested applicants need to have secured the secondment agreement with their manager prior to the application.Bradford Council has recently established a new Sustainability Service, expanding the remit of its Clean Air Team, to support the Council’s response to the Climate Emergency and its ambition to make significant progress towards achieving Net Zero by 2030 through a wide-ranging programme of work addressing new opportunities for Sustainable Development across the Council and the district.We are looking to recruit a Sustainable Delivery Project Officer to focus on the development, successful implementation, and coordination, of an eBike Hire Scheme for Bradford District. In addition, the post holder may be required to support and contribute to a range of Net Zero and Sustainable Delivery projects which are led or supported by the Sustainability Service.You will have experience of project monitoring, reporting and governance to ensure effective delivery and evaluation of projects against defined deliverables, milestones and outcomes.The role will involve creating, managing and quality assuring all project documentation to appropriate standards, in accordance with project governance as defined by the Project Board.
