Shelby Communications is hiring Lead Technicians for a LONG TERM, Multi-year contract in the DALLAS area.Field Experience:Telecommunications Background5-6 Years Cabling Experience (Required)3-4 Years Fiber Experience (Required)Knowledge of the equipment and tools used in structured cablingAbility to climb ladders and operate Boom & Scissor liftsAble to Read Blue PrintsAble to interrupt floor plansMUST be able to pass a background checkMUST have Truck or SUV to carry Ladders & MaterialsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Install all cabling standards in ceiling, conduits and raised floors; routes cable within walls and modular furnitureBuild closets (Mount and install backboards, racks, patch panels, fiber optic Build Racks, Punch down closets and neatly dressed with no divers.Lead Tech Responsibilities:Working with Project Management to schedule/update/complete projectsResponsible for motivating and dictating job duties to all technicians on the jobsiteTrain entry-level technicians, new and current techniciansQC each technician working under them for each assigned jobCertify all cabling once installedAble to PASS BACKGROUND NO FELONIES*** Sign On Bonus**** Quarterly Bonus ******** Mileage Allowance****
