DESCRIPTIONThe Alexa International product marketing team is seeking a customer-obsessed, analytical, and strategic Product Manager to lead the international expansion of new Alexa capabilities, on a 12 month FTC basic.As a Product Manager, you will be the primary contact for a subset of brand new Alexa customer experiences, and work with a cross-functional team including product development and marketing to deliver new features to Alexa customers worldwide.You will operate both strategically and tactically: thinking big to drive new opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs, diving deep into data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively. – Product Roadmap Management: Drive the international product roadmap for key Alexa features.
– Customer Insights & Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to gain insights into customer behaviour in order to influence product development.
– Thought Leadership: Develop subject matter expertise on automated marketing channels and content personalization.
– Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders like other product, technical, program teams to define and align on requirements, priorities and implementations plans.
– Performance Reporting: Develop, standardize and maintain business critical metrics (input and output), analysis, reporting, to support business and financial planning.
– Global Remit: Understand global complexities and nuances to adjust product requirements to meet local needs.
– Process Improvement: Develop and implement new programs, tools, and process improvements across the business to improve transparency, drive scale and efficiencies.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Several years of product management experience in professional, non-internship employment.
– Experience in product, program, or project management, leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services.
– Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity.
– Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
– Experience with end to end product and/or feature delivery and tradeoffs in product development.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
– Experience in handling confidential information
– Experience influencing others and delivering results cross-functionally
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
– Ability to drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and business results
– Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and solve problems
– Owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive with bias for action
