We build affordable new homes, work with partners to reduce homelessness and support people to reach their potential.This role will help us to do this by providing a professional roofing service that delivers an excellent customer experience. Adhering to health and safety regulations and organisational policies and procedures, you will provide a fantastic repairs service and make sure our homes are well maintained for our customers.In this role, you will be responsible for:Carry out all aspects of roofing works to the customer’s homes and empty homesInspect damages and estimate costs of labour, plant and materialsRepair or replace broken materials (slate, tile or flat roofing components)Deliver an excellent customer experience to our customersReport any potential repairs and safeguarding issuesOrder parts, materials or follow up work as requiredWe need people who have:Experience of undertaking roofing work and associated multitasking activities in customers’ homesSound building and construction knowledgeCity and Guilds Parts 1 and 2 or NVQ Level 2 in RoofingExperience of working our areas and quantitiesGeneral building maintenance repair knowledgeFull valid driving licenceEveryone’s welcome here.
