You will be responsible for promoting and sustaining a constructive, supportive and professional working relationship with all customers and colleagues. Being one of the fastest growing Fintech businesses globally we are looking for exceptionally talented and self-motivated person who has a desire to build a career within the Company.Requirements
- To provide a first-class service relating to the resolution of any non/under-paying customers
- Case management of high value accounts in arrears across varying and unique circumstances
- Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls, create bespoke letter and email content with high levels of care, awareness and accuracy
- Build positive relationships with our merchants to validate their circumstances and resolve with a positive outcome for both YouLend and the merchant.
- Negotiate, implement and execute positive solutions with the Merchants circumstances in mind, while balancing the best interests of the business
- Work with a wide range of teams within the company to understand, strategize and implement the most appropriate course of action for each account
- Working closely with Team Leaders and Collections & Recoveries Management to help review and develop the wider recovery strategies
- Good insolvency understanding
- Strong understanding of legal escalation within Collections & Recoveries.
- Ensuring compliance with all appropriate legislation regulatory body guidelines
- Empathy, forbearance and professionalism
- Strong communication skills, accuracy and confidence
- The ability to deal with a variety of challenges, innovate and think on your feet
- Business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit with real enthusiasm for helping SMEs. Experience within the finance industry is advantageous.
- Ability to manage complaint related matters, together with fostering a positive resolve
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within Credit Control/Collections/Debt Recovery environment

- Be highly reliable, organised and adaptable
- Have excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong work ethic and can-do attitude
