Now, we are ready for someone to join us who can be our internal on-boarding and hiring specialist, share our message with other talented people in the marketplace to recruit them to our mission, as well as create unforgettable work experiences for our team as we develop the future of Comfort Keepers.AIM OF THE JOBAs an On-boarding and Hiring Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of employee hiring and on-boarding processes. You will play a crucial role in attracting top talent, evaluating candidates, and ensuring a seamless transition for new employees into the organization. Your efforts will contribute significantly to building a strong team and fostering a positive work environment.RESPONSIBILITIES: * Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with Care Coordinators to understand staffing needs
  • Host and participate in job fairs
  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire
  • Candidate Screening, Selections, and Offer Management:
  • Conduct initial screenings and in-person interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and other hiring requirements as necessary.
  • On boarding Process Management:
  • Develop and manage the on boarding process for new employees, ensuring a positive and engaging experience from offer acceptance to the first day and beyond.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions to introduce new hires to the company culture, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Welcome new hires with prepared on-boarding kits and introduce them to their CareTeam.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Healthcare industry on-boarding and hiring experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and presentation skills.
  • Energetic person with strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify improvements, and make simple decisions independently.
  • Knowledge of human resources best practices.
  • Strategic thinking, training and developmental skills, integrity, patience, and social responsibility.
  • Strong team player with a results driven approach and who can work with limited guidance.
  • Very strong work ethic (reliable) with “can do” and collaborative attitude.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for helping other succeed and thrive in their roles

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work Schedule Monday,Thursday, & Friday 8:30am-5pm in our Summerville office – Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30am-5pm in our Mt. Pleasant office.
  • Position will be performed in an office setting and will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
  • Job Fairs will be held in the community.

POSITION PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Walking, sitting, and standing with lifting limited to files and records typically not expected to exceed 50 pounds in weight; extended time at a computer work screen and on the telephone.In exchange, you will receive:
