Experienced Mechanical Fitter required for a long-standing manufacturing business in Telford.Are you ready to take your career to the next level? This is a stellar opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter looking for a permanent role within a prestigious manufacturing business based in Telford, Shropshire.The role comes with a starting salary up to £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience).We are looking for someone who has previous Strip & Rebuild experience working with vehicles, the hiring manager is looking for someone who has specifically worked with Engines and anyone with experience with Mechanics, Agricultural, Plant Machinery, Construction, Off-Highway, Defence, HGV or LGV Mechanics would be well received.This role would suit someone who is used to getting their hands dirty, has previous mechanical/assembly fitting experience and has experience working in a busy workshop environment.What You Will Do:
- Strip down and refurbish various components, breathing new life into each part.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of parts following disassembly to ensure optimal condition.
- Perform meticulous testing of components post-reassembly, guaranteeing high standards of quality.
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings accurately, contributing to the precision of projects.
- Utilize a range of hand and power tools daily, including spanners and torque wrenches, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
