More details can be found on the Farm Radio .OBJECTIVES AND KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE ASSIGNMENTFRI is seeking a consultant to write two communications reports based on the evaluation reports of two projects that were implemented by FRI in Uganda and Tanzania respectively. The communications reports will be used to showcase our achievements and engage our wider audience, and will form part of our communications portfolio.The specific activities related to this assignment are as follows: * Read through two project evaluation reports and other documents and analyze key content relevant for the communications reports;
- Develop two communications reports (based on the evaluation reports and other project documents) that outline the objectives, methodology and results of the two projects respectively; and
- Develop a one-page summary of each of the two projects, that can be used as brochures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communications, or related field and 4-6 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience as an Editorial Producer, Writer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing and editorial skills in the development space.
- Strong research skills and the ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Strong English communications skills (speaking and writing).
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Experience in editing and producing content for digital platforms, including websites, blogs and social media. Graphic design would be an added advantage.
