Job description

As an Area/ Regional Manager you will develop, coach and nurture a team of Managers and 200 staff in the region, getting the most out of every individual through personal coaching and by developing a culture of praise and recognition for a job well done. You will know everything there is to know about commerciality, maximising profit, minimising loss and delivering a great guest experience and lead teams with confidence, engagement and drive.

  • Manage 6 branches that include the major London stores, Leicester, Leeds, Reading, Cardiff and Nottingham.
  • Full accountability of P&L, GP, margins, shrinkage, hiring and training, health & safety standards across all sites.
  • Manage direct reports of 6-10 Managers and a total of 250 team members.
  • Maintain all reports and present stats on a regular basis to the General Manager.
  • Travel between all locations on a regular basis and have a hands on approach on an ad hoc basis.
  • To shape and take ownership for the business plan and cascade and create buy-in from the region to deliver
  • Accountable for the recruitment, training, development and engagement of the management teams across the region and all team members to ensure all people in the region are set up for success
  • Empower Restaurant Managers to drive customer engagement and working with their local communities to build relationships and drive local marketing opportunities
  • Ensure performance matters are tackled in a timely and consistent manner
  • Take accountability for the delivery of the business plan for the region and communicate expectations for their team around the delivery of all financial measures/KPI’s.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

  • Must have previous regional/ area management experience in the fast-food or restaurant industry.
  • Must have direct line management responsibilities of 200+ employees
  • Able to plan budgets and monitor P&L, develop business plans for the region, and carry out implementation.
  • Highly numerate and commercially astute, with a focus on high standards in customer service and quality of goods.
  • Strong operational excellence and people management skills.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to commute between the locations within the region.
