Overview:The Psychologist II will provide clinical services, clinical supervision and case management for outpatient cases as specified by the Director of the inpatient service, outpatient clinic, or Department Head; participate in hiring, supervising and evaluating Behavioral Psychology Staff; participate in programs of systematic research.Did you know that some Kennedy Krieger locations are approved National Health Service Corp sites for loan repayment? More information here:Responsibilities: * Provide direct clinical services, clinical supervision and case management of in/outpatients.
- Provide supportive clinical services to families of in/outpatients.
- Participate in research projects involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders.
- Participate in hiring, supervising and evaluating Behavioral Psychology staff for specific programs.
- Provide supervision and training for Behavioral Psychology pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows.
- Participate in administrative, clinical and training meetings as necessary.
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Maryland.
EDUCATION:
- Doctoral degree in psychology required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a multi-disciplinary setting dealing with normal and disabled children is required.
- Must have completed a minimum of a one-year clinical internship in psychology with specialization in pediatric behavior disorders.
- Experience in conducting research and communicating research findings via professional conferences, peer reviewed journals, seminars, etc. is preferred.
