It is an exciting time to join us on our journey as we grow and expand!Our mission: To deliver technology like no other!About the roleAspire is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to support Aspire’s Strategic Engagement function working across multiple technology bids and tenders in the public and private sector. The role holder will support the strategic engagement lead to ensure that the end-to-end processes for bids and tenders operate efficiently and opportunities to win new business are maximised.Our ideal candidate will have strong organisation and management abilities with significant experience of bid management and/or project management and the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time-sensitive tasks to successfully fulfil complex bid processes.Within the role, you will be required to ensure the timely submission of high-quality proposals and bids in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and other competitive procurement opportunities.You will collaborate closely with teams across Aspire, including sales, marketing, technical and commercial/finance, to create compelling tender responses that align with Aspire’s business development strategy and demonstrate value to potential customers.What you will be doing
- Bid process management including:
- Identification & Triage of new opportunities
- Taking new opportunities to Sign On / Sign Off
- Arranging bid governance meetings e.g. mid-point reviews
- Maintaining Bids & Tenders Tracker, Portals & Frameworks Registers
- Project Managing Bid Teams (including internal and external bid team members).
- Completing “Supplier Questionnaire” information for tenders.
- Identifying collateral from the Bid Library for responses.
- Support Pricing Proposals e.g. developing templates, disseminating client guidance.
- Quality Assurance reviews of written proposals.
- Collating “Lessons Learned” from successful/unsuccessful bids.
- Curating exemplar reusable content for the Bid Library.
You will suit the role if you have
- Proven bid management and proposal development experience in the public and/or private sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into client-focused content.
- Very strong numeracy skills and commercial acumen.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly capable user of MS Office and bid management tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with IT managed services products/services is beneficial.
