Qualifications:To succeed as a heavy equipment operator you must have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating forklifts and loader;
• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification;
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures including but not limited to backing up procedures, use of spotters, signage, required personal protective equipment and lifting of heavy loads;
• Knowledge of equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance requirements;
• Working in all weather conditions;
• In addition to these duties, personnel are required to carry out other duties that may be required in order to support the objectives of the company.
• Ability to speak/understand the Tlicho language would be considered an asset
